The Bread & Board project included the build out of a full-service restaurant and market space, designed for 150 patrons. The new market space, dubbed Bread & Board Provision, offers seasonally focused food and goods sourced from local vendors. Renovations included a 6,760 sq. ft. building with 4,298 sq. ft. for the restaurant and kitchen area, and 2,462 sq. ft. for the market space. A unique feature of the new space – which is relevant to the goals of the FAB-REP regarding the desire for street-front activation – is the creation of an indoor porch environment open to the street via a corner space directly facing the intersection of Bay and Laura Street.
The Bread & Board will offer high-quality options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and will be open from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday – Friday and 7 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Sundays.
